It all started when…

Harold Poignant, Jr. purchased a small Vermeer trencher and got his start in the drainage industry. In 2011, Harold and his brothers, Colton and Aaron, partnered up to establish Poignant Bros. Farm Drainage, and the company quickly grew. Demand for their services was high, thanks to the company’s reputation for quality work, prompt response times, and professional approach, regardless of project size. In 2017, in order to continue meeting increasing demand for differing water management work, the brothers divided the business into two separate companies, sparking the birth of MK Farm Drainage Specialists, L.L.C.

Today, Harold manages the day-to-day operations of MK Farm Drainage Specialists, a company that specializes in complete system water management projects, trenching and excavating related to integrated management system mains (County and District mains), as well as management system repair and maintenance, and other earth moving projects of all kinds.
