When we started, we moved in and out of the same handful of fields, installing small amounts of tile every other year and, in some cases, every year. Typically trenching 2,000-6,000 feet at a time, we would drain “wet spots” only to discover that we had fixed just one problem area, revealing a new “wet spot” somewhere else on the farm. Additionally , we found that using this kind of trenching equipment to install was slow and tedious. So we made it our mission to find a better solution...

In the winter of 2012, Harold purchased his first plow and set out to find the most effective, efficient, and service-focused tile crew in the Midwest — and succeeded! Today, MK Farm Drainage Specialists has a very simple approach to drainage.
